In 2019 my sister's beagle, Meitong, went through four "indestructible" toys in one week. Not chewed — demolished. When we looked for a supplier who actually tested their claims, we couldn't find one. So we became one.
The rules we're
a bit stubborn about
Toys get 21 days with our office dogs before catalog entry. Cat beds get washed ten times — if the filling clumps, the design dies. Memorial pieces are packed the way we'd want them packed for our own dogs.
We started with 18 m² and a secondhand sewing machine. Today it's a 2,400 m² factory with 34 people, and our toys sit in about 190 stores across 14 countries. The rules never changed, and honestly that's why the reorder rate sits at 71%.
The memorial line came later, after a longtime customer called at 2 a.m. because her vet couldn't help and nine other suppliers had hung up. We drove to her ourselves. That night decided the next five years of this company.
